What is this Procedure?

This procedure involves the correction of any past rhinoplasty surgeries you might have had. Some patients find their previous rhinoplasty surgeries did not produce the results they desire, or subsequent injuries have once again left them with an unshapely nose.

How is it Performed?

The surgeon performing revision rhinoplasty will begin the procedure by making incisions inside the nose or in the area between the nostrils. The procedure may require the addition of tissue, grafted from elsewhere on the body, or the removal of tissue damaged from the original operation. Usually performed on an outpatient basis, revision rhinoplasty may require up to four hours to complete, with an additional hour needed for recovery. The patient will be asked to avoid strenuous activities for about two weeks and contact sports for at least six weeks after the surgery.
